🧭 Our Governance

We Are Australia Foundation is a registered Australian charity and a company limited by guarantee. The organisation is governed by an independent board of directors who are unrelated by blood, marriage, or de facto relationship, in accordance with our Constitution.

We operate with full transparency and accountability, guided by a clear harm prevention purpose. Our Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Gift Fund is managed separately and overseen by Responsible Persons, ensuring that all donations are used exclusively for our charitable programs. We maintain strict compliance with ACNC regulations and ATO requirements for harm prevention charities.

Take action today to help prevent abuse, exploitation, and harm against international students in Australia. Your support directly funds trauma recovery, legal aid, emergency relief, and education programs for those who need it most.

Join the We Are Australia team in building a safer, more inclusive future — where every international student has the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
